Autumn - the book
Here in Park City, the first snow usually falls sometime in September creating, for me, a sense of urgency to capture the beauty of Autumn. My book, Autumn, is a collection of some of the images I have taken during Park City’s brilliant, but brief, Autumn season. In creating the book, I hope to share with others the magic of what I feel is the most beautiful season.

For as long as I can remember, photography has been a part of my life. When I was a young girl, my parents owned an antiques store. I was fascinated by the old,
sepia-toned photographs that I would discover in the store. I loved looking at the serious faces from a hundred years ago- they seemed to speak to me. I felt that every photograph had a story to tell.
While attending school at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, I studied photography. My main focus was black & white photography, but I was fortunate to learn some alternative mediums such as Van Dyke Brown, Cyanotype and Polaride Transfers.
After moving from Colorado to Oregon and then to Park City, Utah, I found my true passion in wildlife and nature photography. I have always found inspiration in nature and feel a sense of peace while surrounded by the beauty of the forests surrounding my mountain home. I feel deeply honored when an animal allows me to photograph it.
